Introduction
This list is based on the timetable as at 1 January 2014; timetables on individual lines have different effective dates. Standard abbreviations are explained in General Information.
Obscure services
Viljandi - platform in sidings
(ERA1 114B4, not shown) EE13/1
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in 2012 there was an additional train from Tallinn to Viljandi and back, departing Tallinn 13:33 and returning 16:19. This train continued 300 metres to a servicing platform, then returned immediately to form the 16:19 service. This train pair was the only one to have a short layover which would make this short journey possible, but it does not run in the timetable from 1 December 2012.
Other sparse services
The following lines have few trains (relative to service levels generally in this country) - fewer than three trains each way on at least three days a week - or do not run each weekday:
- (Tallinn -) Lelle - Pärnu
- (Tallinn -) Lelle - Viljandi
- (Tallinn -) Tapa - Rakvere - Narva
- Tartu - Orava - Koidula
- Tartu - Valga
- Koidula - Piusa
Deletions since previous edition
