The train ferry port in Azerbaijan moved from Baku to the new port of Alat, 70 km south, in September 2014. <br />

The train ferry port in Kazakhstan moved from Aktau to the new port of Kuryk, 60 km south, in 2018.
This freight only route is expected to open in 2017. It will probably replace the Baku - Aktau route.

The train ferry port in Kazakhstan moved from Aktau to the new port of Kuryk, 60 km south, in 2018.
