This is 3Kv electrified to Bielawa Dolna and 25kv beyond, with the boundary between the two electrification systems just west of the bridge over the river Neiße, which forms the border. The main freight artery via Horka High Level reopened in December 2018. It had been suggested that a passenger service might be introduced but so far it has only seen use by limited diversions of the weekend only Berlin - Wroclaw DMU service up to Autumn 2018.

[D] This line carries domestic German services between Görlitz and Zittau, which call at Krzewina Zgorzelecka mainly to serve the German village of Ostritz on the opposite bank of the river Neisse. Between Krzewina Zgorzelecka and Hirschfelde the line crosses the river twice and traverses a 200 m section within Germany.
