Besançon-Franche-Comté TGV east curve

(ERA-E 31C3; ERA-R 72A1; S+W 67D4) FR23/355

This curve was used by direct TGVs between Mulhouse and Besançon Viotte. There are no such services in the current timetable.

Trains between Besançon-Franche-Comté TGV station and Besançon Viotte use the west curve.

Lines used on an occasional basis for engineering work diversions

Raccordement de Saincaize (Nevers avoiding line): La Guerche-sur-l'Aubois – Saincaize

(ERA-E 31C1; ERA-R 75A5; S+W 76B2) FR23/361

There are no regular services over this west to south curve but it is used for diversions when the line north of Nevers is blocked. Look for trains taking about 20 minutes longer than usual between Paris and Moulins sur Allier and calling at Saincaize instead of Nevers.
