Introduction

This list is based on the timetable which comes into force on 8 December, 2019.. The LDz internal timetable does not use table numbers. Standard abbreviations are explained in General Information.

Map references for each route entry are given in parentheses ( ). References prefixed "ERA" refer to the European Railway Atlas Baltic States, Belarus & Ukraine, Regional Series 2017, by M.G.Ball.

Obscure services

Rīga pasažieru - Vagonu Parks/Vagonnyi Park [- Jāņavārti]

All-stations electric suburban services in both directions and a very limited number of longer distance DMU services deviate from the double track main line and run to the south of carriage sidings and an EMU depot. They use a single track line and call at Vagonu Parks/Vagonnyi Park station. These frequent services run every day and can be easily identified in the Riga - Ogre and Lielvārde timetable.

Ukrainian Railways operates a seasonal train between Kiev/Kyiv and Riga

The following lines have a limited service of fewer than two trains a day each way or do not run every day:
