Obscure services

Beograd (Beograd Spoljna) – Beograd Dunav - Pančevački Most

Notes:-

  • The route between Novi Beograd and Pančevački Most via Beograd Centar sees a regular service of electric multiple unit trains marketed as BG Voz/BG Train.
  • Most of the outer suburban Beovoz trains to or from the Pančevo glavna st. direction that terminate at or start from Pančevački Most use a side platform there, on the single line to Beograd Dunav, labelled Dunavski Kolosek or Dunavski Peron.

Golubinci - Inđija

[10, 30] (ERA 102C2 & 107B1) RS17/2

This curve connects the Beograd - Šid and Beograd - Novi Sad lines. There are no services in the current timetable.

Niš – Niš ranžirna – Crveni Krst

[91] (ERA 103B4 Poorly shown) RS17/3

Niš ranžirna is a freight yard to the west of Niš, and is connected to both the Niš - Beograd and Niš - Skopje lines via triangular junctions. Trains run from Niš via the east to north curve off the Skopje line, call at the freight yard station at Niš ranžirna (where they wait for 15 minutes and change train number), then run via the south to east curve to Crveni Krst and back to Niš, performing a clockwise loop. Though these trains are clearly intended for members of staff, no objection has been raised to other passengers using them. Total journey time is about 40 minutes.

The staff trains have not appeared in the 2015-2016 or 2016/17 timetables and have either ceased, or are no longer advertised. The 2014-2015 timings are given below. More information would be welcomed by the compilers.

6300/6301 06:40 Niš - Niš ranžirna - Niš
6202/6303 14:40 Niš - Niš ranžirna - Niš
6304/6305 18:40 Niš - Niš ranžirna - Niš

Vršac – Bela Crkva

[former 43] (ERA 102C4) RS17/4

This approximately 44 km line has not had a regular passenger service since about 2005. A tourist service operated every weekend from 20 June to the end of August 2015, with a connection to and from Beograd. It is not knwon whether the train ran in 2016 or will run in 2017. The summer 2015 times were as follows:

E SSuO 09:30 Vršac – Bela Crkva
E SSuO 17:20 Bela Crkva – Vršac

Paraćin - Gilje

[70] ( ERA 103A4) RS17/5

At the end of 2015 a new cut-off opened north of Paraćin which straightened the line north to Gilje. The southern part of the old main line was retained to serve Ćuprija with a new east to north curve, west of the station, joining the old line with the northern half of the new deviation. There are therefore two routes between Paraćin and Gilje. All local trains and some fast trains run via Ćuprija. A few fast services use the southern part of the new deviation. Trains without a station stop at Ćuprija can be assumed to travel via the southern half of the new deviation. They are as follows:-

D293 Beograd Glavna – 00:27 Jagodin - Sofia
D292/14292 Sofia – 01:44 Paraćin - Beograd Glavna
D334 Gevgelija – 04:58 Paraćin - Beograd Glavna
336 Skopje - 15:03 Paraćin - Beograd Glavna
490 Sofia – 16:58 Paraćin - Beograd Glavna

Beograd Centar - Rakovica

[70] ( ERA 102C5) RS17/6

From Beograd Centar to Rakovica once had a frequent suburban service, but now the only trains shown as taking this line in the journey planner are three train pairs on line 70 starting/finishing from Beograd Centar rather than Beograd Glavna.

2901 03:59 Beograd Centar - Niš
2991 11:20 Beograd centar - Lapovo
2905 15:28 Beograd Centar - Niš
790 Lapovo - 09:39 Resnik - Beograd Centar
