A west to north link between the L’viv – Stryj line and the Drohobyč – Stryj line. It is used by fast trains to avoid Stryj. Towards L’viv they run via the separate flyover, towards Truskavec’ the shorter direct curve.

There is also an flyover with a platform 22 km* on it, so the last station is Suchačivka, but this section is without passenger traffic, because beside two suburban train pairs some long distance trains use the southern route only in west-east-direction, they have a stop in Dnipropetrovs'k-Pivdennyj.
