The Gevgelija - Idomeni cross-border service into Greece ceased from 13 February 2011, as for all other border crossings with Greece. A weekly summer-only service reportedly ran between July and September 2012. However, a Beograd - Skopje - Thessaloniki summer overnight service was reintroduced from 10 May 2014.
Trains between Skopje and Kičevo were suspended in June 2001 because of the political situation near the border with Albania, but have now been reinstated.
