Svilengrad BDŽ - Kapıkule TCDD

[E] BDŽ works to Kapıkule.
There is one daily night train pair "Istanbul-Sofia Express" working between Sofia and Halkali via this route, cut back from İstanbul in March 2012 owing to engineering work. This train was suspended in July 2021, owing to the Covid pandemic, but restarted on 25 April 2022.
The Optima Express car carrying train runs via this route. The train runs once or twice per week in each direction between Villach (Austria) and Edirne (Turkey), between May and November. Foot passenger bookings may also be made.
BDŽ commenced a daytime SSuO Plovdiv - Erdine pair on 1 June 2019 which ran for just one weekend before being withdrawn.
